Although Graham Ball Joiners wasn't the official building contractor on this project we were recommended and recruited for when the focal point of the whole rear elevation design almost brought the project to an end.
​
The GwynDoor.
A four-metre-high glazed hangar door was the focus of the rear elevation to really connect the garden to the home.
​
The structure itself was made of steel by an Industrial hangar door fabricator but Graham Ball Joiners was brought in to convert the commercial steel door into a domestic insulated door that met building regulations over coming draft, water and condensation issues that arise when timber meets steel.
